"I enjoyed the dental assisting course I took because it challenged me. I am currently 40 years old, so have not been in school in quite a while. I am a server at a local restaurant and even though it is hard work physically and I make a decent living it is not extremely rewarding, and it is not a career. This did wonders for my confidence, it proved to me that even after all these years I can do anything I set my mind to."

“I have had a great experience with WVU Parkersburg’s Short-Term education programs. My daughter took the Phlebotomy course and was hired at Camden Clark, and my son who took an aluminium welding course through your program got a job at a local manufacturer as an aluminium welder. We are so glad that WVU Parkersburg is here to help so many”
